just tried using the fine zap a gap for the first time is it me or is it easier to sand than normal
super glue? and should I apply some extra layers of it to totally seal the gap? to be on the safe side

Hi Mike, from what I've read about this stuff if you leave it a day or so it becomes just as hard as any other super glue out there. When you use it is it a lot more viscous than say gel?

I've used it and also find it easier to use and sand. I usually sand it within 30 min of applying it.

Another way of using CA glue as a filler is to put normal CA into the gap, and then sprinkle bicarbonate of soda onto it. It sets instantly and can be sanded within seconds. It also seems to be about the same density as the surrounding plastic and therefore a smooth joint can be acheived. I used this method just the other day on the wingroot of a 1/48 hurricane that just would not close up and now the joint is invisible.
