Hey Tanker,
That is a great kit! You'll have fun building it. One of my favourite tanks because the design is unique and novel.

Haven't seen the video (currently at home with dial-up hell), but perhaps tomorrow at Netopia.
Re: Stridsvagn-103C, I have that kit, too as well as the early B version. Excellent kit, great and easy to build (similar to what they describe Tamiya kits - 'shake-and-bake'). I've built the B already but haven't touched the C. Try to search for the IPMS-Sweden's english-language forum. I had a thread there asking about the S. Maybe it's still there - complete with pix. If you need more pix, I have some in my HD and willing to email you them.
BTW, the Trump kit is not 1/35. More like 1/40 they say. Yep, it's undersized, but it's not noticeable (unless one is a rivet counter). Accurate Armour has the real 1/35 kit - but that's resin. Other than that, great kit, fun to build, and it's a unique subject. I might just build my 103C, add the anti-HEAT grill armor on the front, and bring it to the Nationals (along with the 103B).
Apparently, scuttlebutt has it that the Swedes were shocked when, having acquired a T-72 (I dunno how), they tested it against a 103. The 125mm shell (I think APDS, if not HEAT) penetrated the 103, much to the distress of the Swedes who were expecting it to slant off due to the sloping armor.

I also have the kit of the "C" I must agree with GI it's an excellent kit. Also one of my favorites,
10 years ago(yes GI you heard me right!)I almost scractbuilt the "B" Tamiya has one in 1/48th which was my basis for my project. The hull was almost complete the road wheels and tracks where from the Chieftain.. and even the fuel tanks are done.
Then an article from FSM came out with the S-tank by Terry Sunday. I dunno I just felt that I don't have the motivation to build my project.

is that right GI? around 1/40? well so be it. Yeah its a nice kit, though in the instruction u need to do some drilling. like i said i'm not that yet experienced.
Anyway, in that site they had the last few pictures of 103c firing live rounds, i think they retired the S last 2001. Also, they had a long video there around 11mins or something about the swedish armor corps (with ACDC background music). So you better install your download manager to fasten up ur DL.
good day gentlemen!

Yup, smaller than 1/35, so it'd be 1/40 or 1/38. But it isn't noticeable (unless one has Accurate Armour's resin S-tank kit).
As for the drilling, all you need is (absent a pin vise) a new X-Acto No. 11 blade, a 1mm jeweller's screw driver (available at Ace), or a pin. Just drill it (in the case of the No. 11 blade or the screw driver) or puncture it from the outside (in the case of a pin).
