Hi,

This was the only store which I found in Shanghai:
Waigao Hobby
444 Dong Jiang Wan Road
Hong Kou Football Stadium
(store is located close to Hong Kou Football Stadium Metro Station)
They specialize in RC modelling but they have also Tamiya and Meng kits on stock.
But in my opinion the best way is to ask sb from hotel's staff to order kits from Taobao site (eBay for Chinese people). They offer very competitive prices and kits can be delivered within 1-2 days. Taobao site is in Chinese (and You can use only Chinese cards)- therefore assistance is really necessary.

Last time I visited this store on the end of 2016. This is their website:

Than I started ordering kits using Taobao website. Consierge in my hotel was very helpful.

Wow... i cecked the prices on taobao... tamiya kits for half the price... tamija colors for 1dollar... are those prices real?

Prices and quick service are the major reasons I prefer to order kits using TaoBao
But my suggestion is to ask sb who knows Chinese to read information from Seller. E.g. to be sure that You're ordering full and complete kit who is on stock.
