How to remove pieces stuck with CA cement?

Hi guys. I've stuck a large resin part on the turret of my latest build and I've noticed it's not straight. I used a lot of Tamiya CA and its stuck really well. Is there anything I can use to remove it without damaging the styrene? What about nail varnish remover?

Put it in the freezer for 30 minutes to one hour. This should make the ca brittle enough for you to break apart, using gentle but firm pressure.

Be warned: Not all super glue debonders are the same. You will need to find the same brand of debonder as is the glue. This is also very messy. I say this, with confidence as I failed many times.

I honestly used 3 brands of debonders with various CAs and I've never had such problems but I imagine it's possible

here in Oz i use just loctite glue and glue remover,before in Switzerland i used Sika's and worked with a couple of other brands but maybe I was just lucky

Another possibility is apply acetone to the join. It will cause the superglue to become brittle and crack. Just don't let any get on styrene bits.

I do what Matt does a small brush and it usually comes off never to be seen again.
Zap makes a thick stuff in a bottle that contains acetone in a gel form.
