Hello!! I just found out that I live just a few miles from this fine bird. I am looking to build a 1/48 version of this plane.I found out that Fightertown Decals made a set that had this very plane in it. It was called F-14D VF-31 Felix's Final Fight and Farewell. I have been unable to locate a set. Does anyone know where I can pick a set up?

John, that pretty cool. You don't need no stinking reference...you have the real thing

As for the decals, I don't have those as I don't particuraly build 1/48 but I believe I have seen those on eBay from time to time. So, keep an eye out for a copy there. Hope this helps.

My son is going to an Aerospace Academy. The F-14 and several other planes are around the campus.

That will be a cool build to have when thinking about him and his school. So, good luck
