I recently purchased a Hobby Boss Merkava IV, and found it to be a really nice kit, with lots of fine surface detail and good over-all fit. My one problem is with the ball & chain armor supplied for the turret. My arthritis and the tiny, tiny chain and tiny, tiny balls are next to impossible to handle and after making a half dozen sets, no two sets looked alike! I have heard that someone markets cast pieces to replace the kit pieces making the model look much more realistic.
