I'm not from Austin but I know they have a club there since they hold AMPS events. Here is the contact info they have on their Facebook page. Hope it helps.

Worked there for a while. Looks like Village Hobby is closed but King's Hobby is still open.

Sorry I didn't notice this sooner, but the Austin show is in October. San Antonio is in February. Also, the Austin AMPS contest is this coming Saturday.
