Good morning everybody,
I wish just to spend a few words to introduce myself to the fellow modellers here.
My name is Vincenzo Valentini, of course from Italy, NE part, and I model in 1/72 scale, most of my output in centred on WW2 subjects, AFV and aircrafts.
I am just restarting after a very long pause with things with wings as I concentrated myself on small scale AFV.
I have always been interested in aviation, 30es and WW2, and like most of us I started with the primal Airfix series 1 kits in soft plastic bags.
During the years I have amassed a great deal of information on Italian WW2 aircrafts (Regia Aeronautica and ANR) and on postwar subjects since I live at a 6 miles distance from Aviano AFB and enjoy good connections with USAF and ItalianAF officers there.
Hoping to be able to contribute constructively to this site, I greet you all.
Vincenzo

Kind of sad that with 133+ views only three people have bothered to say Hi and welcome. I thought this was a friendly community....

meh. three's a lot. we are rather polite here. I belong to a number of fora where a intro thread such as this is met with stony silence, or "FO newb", and that is considered right and proper.
Also, I will never, ever congratulate you on your birthday, even if I like you.
