We (read me, myself & I)need some new VW Beetles !!! I've got a couple of Aeroplast V-dubs but are a bit old & crude by todays standards. I've also had the CMK version too.
I want to do a mid 50's civilian diorama with Miniart's tram set and a scratch façade of storefronts. Already have a Simca and a Bronco Fiat(?) & Opel Saloon car. But could really use a VW or two. A Borgward would be over the top !

Hi, totally agree with this post. Used everywhere by everyone it has always been a puzzle that there are no new kits of this ubiquitous vehicle. It would be great to see versions from the 50's,60's and 70's as well as split and bay window vans.

No kidding ! A kit of the Beetle would be just like the real thing. Not much in the way of changes body style wise except for the early models with the 2 piece rear window. Add some chrome parts, change bumpers, different interiors.
Come on somebody give us a 1/35th VW !!!!!
