Hi guys! Natapos ko na rin yung Apache ko for the Death From Above Campaign. As for the kit, I hate it, bad fit and requires a lot of sanding. Tuloy nawala yung ibang details. So what did I do? I've done paint chipping atleast to show that there are details in that area. Medyo pansin nyo na pangit ang masking ko sa canopy ng kit . Di ko na rin masyadong inayos sya kasi nakakainis yung pagkagawa sa molds ng kit. The canopy was dipped in Future so you can see how well it shines. Photos are on my website.

BTW, have a look in my website! Naupdate ko lang sya recently. Check for missing links.

Thanks!

Hey there, Shonen.

Nice site. Love that IPMS logo.

Nice job on the Apache. What kit is it? If it had raised panel lines, you can be sure some details will be sanded off when assembling it. Thats why I rescribe kits with raised panel lines.

Thanks Buck! Parang naging practice piece ko lang tong Apache na to. I've used new techniques on this one:

Future application
Drybrushing
Wash (yeah! Sa wakas gumana na!)
Microsol/ Microset application

This is the Academy kit. Actually di naman raised panel lines, raised bolts sya which I cannot work as recesed ones. I have a lot of fun playing around with the rotor blade. It really rotates!

Nice build there SR. I have built one myself a few years ago. It was the longbow version.

Nice job SR for masking the canopy use a toothpick to avoid the paint to bleed under & the masking tape will adhere nicely.

Heh, nice job on the kit, especially considering how bad it sounds! What's that light green in the panel lines, though?

Thanks for the heads-up about the Academy kit. I almost bought one - it's probably a good thing Lils ran out of stock last I was there... I got their excellent M113 Fitter instead!

Thanks blank! I've used olive drab and silver undercoat to achieve the paint chipping (a million thanks to Jeep :-) ) The light green thingy was probably caused by the digicam ( I better use the black part since the white board edits the whole color. Darn)
