Hmmmm, I suppose if I just simply read the bio...............

My bad.

But then, all cool looking trucks don't have to be Australian........do they?

For those interested, here is a rare 'prototype' Australian CMP vehicle.

And no, I didn't find this in your Archive's 'Roo (although I've only looked through several hundred of them! ). I found this while doing some ref' surfing.

Tread.

This would be a nice scratchbash! From what I can tell, you could mate a set of Universal Carrier tracks to the Chevy CMP cab and chassis and Voila!......what say you 'Roo?

yes Tread that pic and one or two more are in my archive here in the gallery and yes they were standard universal carrier tracks added to the back of a CMP 13 cab. They also fitted them to several other trucks both Chev and Ford during the war.this was trialed only and not put into production to my knowledge.

ford

chevrolet

International

And yes Tread this is another on my "to do" list.

G 'Day 'Roo,

Came across this in the 'Reviews' section of the site. Question; Was this vehicle used by the Aussie's? It would seem like something you fellas would use, but ya never know!

Also, it doesn't look like it would that hard to scratchbash, and upsclae it to 1/35th.
What do you think Mr. TruckBugger?

Howdy guys,

Was doin' a bit of ref-surfing, and came across some neat pics. The one below is for our 'Aussie' members.
It supposedly depicts Australian troops getting oriented on the M3 lend-lease vehicle.

Not anything exciting....but it's Aussie.
