Since I started modelling last year I have found it discouraging that the only club meeting location is up in North York. There used to be an IPMS chapter which met at Hornet Hobbies but it is apparently defunct.
Sorry to anyone who does go to the meetings in North York -- I work in Liberty Village by the Exhibition grounds and I don't own a car. My chance of ever attending a meeting is... regrettably small.
Cutting what might become a ramble short: is anyone interested in a more downtown Toronto meeting / club? Not that I am a member of any clubs at the moment, given that I can't attend any meetings.

Hi Chris
Have you tried this club.
https://ipmstoronto.com/amps/
I live in the GTA north and traffic is horrible for me to go there.
Cheers,
Ralph

Sorry for the very late reply, but no - that's what's up in North York. I don't own a car, and the travel time up there by TTC is prohibitive. I guess it might be just as bad by car, I don't know.
