Has anyone tried using mismatched scales of model and decals? specifically I am looking to use 1/72 Decals from a Revell Dornier DO 18 on a 1/48 Airfix JU 87-B. the Airfix kit is no longer in production and the Decals for the kit are long gone.
Not sure what else to try as don't want to pay the earth for replacement ones.
Regards and thanks for advice

I think most of the 1/72 decals would come off as too small on a 1/48. You might want to put a feeler out in the Buy-Sell forum to see if anyone has some 1/48 German markings they'd be willing to part with for the price of shipping.

I do it often as aircraft and tanks of various sizes use different sized insignia. So Do 18 might be the right size for a 1/48 Stuka. You have to eyeball the comparative sizes or better yet get the actual markings measurements and See if one matches the other.
I've run short of decals plenty of times and then found the right sized replacement on a totally different scaled sheet.
