I am thinking of spending some of our income tax refund on a few Accurate Armour kits. This topic may have been covered before but I did not find anything in a search. Has anyone had dealings (from overseas) with Accurate Armour? Still worth the heavy price tag? I am contemplating their Centurion Mk 11, ARRV Challenger conversion and Stillbrew conversion for Chieftain. From the search I did their figures are rated very highly. I am also aware of the hazards of dealing with resin and will take proper precautions.

I've ordered from them. The shipping was pretty fast considering the distance.

Me too - I've ordered from them and shipping to California was problem-free and remarkably fast. The only suppliers who beat AA in delivery time (for me) is VLS Corp and Model Point who advertises here on site. Model Point is incredibly fast - at least that's been my experience with them so far!

I've ordered recently as well as in the past from AA, and was amazed at the speed in which I got things!
Have no fear.

I've ordered from AA couple of times and they have the best service I encountered so far... Packages are usually delivered in one week and customer service is outstanding. I don't have any of the kits you mentioned, but I can strongly recomend their products based on couple of kits I got from them.
I'd say go for it, you won't be dissapointed.

I've got several kits from AA and apart from an early FV432 kit they are all great and shipping is pretty quick. I've never had to ask for any parts but the staff always responds to any questions.
Castoff also does a Stillbrew conversion which is cheaper but it doesn't include an entire top deck so some surgery is required.
Is this your first attempt at resin?

Sandbox,
I too have ordered from them, and delivery from Scotland to me here in Atlanta, GA has been very fast. Once I had the package in just 4 days, other times it has averaged 7-10. I have found the quality of their products is excellent.

Ok. You might have a little warping so let us know if you have any questions about straightening with hot water or hair dryer.

My order arrived yesterday. Other than my credit card company throwing a slight monkey wrench in to the works, the order process and delivery went smoothly. Now the real fun begins! Where do all these parts go?

great news sandbox,
one thing to do first off, especially as these are your first resin kits, check all the parts are there. occasionally with resin kits you will find the odd part has not been included. ive never had this problem with AA, but ive heard they are also very quick to replace missing or damaged parts.
cheers
