Im building a IPM1 Abrams and Im wondering what other units in US ARMY Europe other than the 11th Armored Cav Rgt used that varient of the Abrams in the mid to late 1980S

This is just a guess, but, the 3D AD comes to my mind. I am not where I can reasearch it right now.

was that the unit that was in the CAT gunnery competition as well?

Hey Nick,

I just looked that up and it was 1st Plt Delta, 4-8 CAV, 3D AD mounted on M1IP's that won the competition on June 19, 1987.
