I have a pantload of models that I'm now getting rid of, admitting to myself I'll never build most of them.
Many of them were in a basement and sustained damage to the boxes to the extent that the boxes cannot be shipped. The kits are otherwise in good condition, still in sprue bags (I mean, if the kits came with those in the first place). So two questions:
1) Does the box really matter?
2) Should the kit be listed as new or used? I mean, it's new in that is hasn't been built (pieces are still on sprues) but it's used in that it doesn't have a box.
Thoughts? Thanks.

Simply explain what happened and stress that the model is in "like new" condition still on sprues and in sealed bags.
