I wish to represent Carrier Strike Group One, as it is currently deployed. Academy offers the USS Carl Vinson, in 1/800. This is an odd scale, but there aren't many options. So, I can settle for 1/700 support vessels(2x Arleigh Burke class missile destroys and 2x Ticonderoga class cruisers). I'm new to ship modeling and need advice as to which kits I will need to accurately represent the support vessels. I already have the air wings covered. Thanks.

Not going to work. Looking at a 350 conversion of a Nimitz class carrier.

Minihobby has a 1/700 USS Carl Vinson.

Thanks, Gino. Keeping the battlegroups straight, was becoming a problem. I may upscale the Vinson. The rest of the ships deployed are easy enough to find, in 350 scale.
