For sale or preferably trade are a pair of ye olde type vintage wood and cannon kits. pretty sure they're older than me (pre '70). They're 1/17 scale and come as pictured. All parts are (were) there, they've been in my stash for a long while. *I used the block of wood that was the base out of one of the kits, but it's easily replaced with your own block o'wood.

They have the old style layout plans (not an instruction booklet, but a large fold-out sheet detailing assembly--I think they're in Italian.

One of the guns has a cast metal cannon with a really vintage finish on it. The other is a turned brass gun in 3 pieces. Both are nice kits and will build into handsome models. I just don't have the wood-kit-bug any longer, what with all of the awesomeness to be had in plastics these days.
