How goes your bets for this years WRC? My baby subaru's are just being wiped out with the superior hatcbacks of Citroen!!! Hmph! Though the pugs are really coming up from the rear pretty well.

I can't wait for the New Zealand leg of the race, Tarmac is just too pretty a sight to miss, with all its technicalities...

yep the citroen team really is on a roll at the moment and have shown consistency with their result sa score. But my money's on pug, medyo may glitches pa kasi sila ngayun sa kotse but the 2004 car looks promising in terms of speed and performance

Oo nga, lapit na ren F1 season, although I am rooting for Underdog BMW cris, hehe!

The new subaru coming up for the mexico leg of the WRC is looking pretty good, last time I saw it while it was being tested.

Hehe, dad nang girlfriend ko was there to watch live eh. One of the perks of his job.

I'm not primarily a Ferrari fan talaga, Shumacher does wonders with the car -- mas maka-J.P Montoya ako eh. Hehe! Ever since Hakkinen left Mclaren, BMW Williams na ang team ko for the F1. IMO, ever since they changed the rules, specially last season -- pansin ren nang Ferrari yan, nagkakaroon na nang edge ang ibang teams.

I must admit that I found last night's RPN9 replay of the WRC more exciting than Melbourne. Cars flying everywhere! Race leader hit a snow drift and dropped to 12th! Mechanics feverishly replacing whole drive trains! Teams openly spying on the others' tire choices! And best of all, the bleeps from the drivers when things go wrong. WRC is fun!

I wasn't able to catch the replay on RPN9.

I do hope Subaru at least bags some nice points tonight! Can't wait for Japan and New Zealand! Tarmac!! HAHA! Tagal pa nga lang.


UPDATE:

Argh!! Solberg just had to get ditched with a 5min++ penalty early on in the event, and when he was just starting to "perform". Nonetheless, I do hope in New Zealand he still presents the level of driving he had tonight. Fabulous! My Subaru's climbing up Citroen's alley! Haha!

I was particulary impressed with Citroen's Seinz, having his tires significantly worn by the gravel, and still being able to come up to par with the Ford team.

Can't wait for New Zealand!
