Hey everybody,

I usually glue just everything with Tamiya's extra thin cement. Everybody knows the great characteristics of this cement.
But did you know there is a new version on the market? Quick setting extra thin.
This stuff is even more amazing. Sometimes the normal extra thin tend to melt the plastic too strong and if you press the parts together some plastic is squeezes out, and you also get the obligatory glossy layer of melted surface, though it's not problematic.

But this glue reacts somehow different. The smell is absolutely different, reminds me more of acetone. It is gone in a second when applied, no marks, nothing remains, but the bonding works immediately.
Good job for once again, Tamiya

Seen it in the stores, haven't tried it. Still have a bottle of normal thin. Most importantly, it's double the price.

Really?

The LHS where I buy actually sells the "Quick setting" for
$1.00 less than the Extra thin

Have been using it for almost a year too, I really like it.

Cheers,
