I picked up some "press plates" from the local newspaper. they're 3 for a buck. they're .005" thick about 24" x36" great (almost free) sheetmetal.

LOL Matt. I got mine for free, being the silver tounged devil that I am. Here is a pic of three of them on my (messy) desk @ work. The stylish Atlas Foundry coffee cup is for scale. They have a shiny side and a matte side with the print burned into them. They are right at .005 inches thick and easy to fold. Good stuff.
