Actually many of us do care, but it is unfortunate that more can't or don't take the time to reply and say 'Hi!'. This seems to be a common problem across the entire WWW where anonymity causes some people to think the basic rules of etiquette don't apply. I grieve for our world.

Mark has perfectly explained what happens, often introductions are missed for one reason or another, and the ratio of views/responses is usually much lower at any forum, not only here.
