For a short time I was a real live pilot, a freightdog. I discovered some of my flying fortes and foibles during that time, as well as developed some not-ready-for-prime time flying attitudes (pardon the pun).

By chance I discovered that an acquaintance from that period of my life is now a magazine contributor. This is one of her stories. I flew for Hogan Air and while I never flew with Ms Lunken - only met her briefly a few times - but I have many hours droning along with Kevin and a couple of others mentioned in this article.
