Just wondering if this vehicle can be used as a load on a Trumperter Faun tank transporter?

It would have been a very rare sight given the time periods the two vehicles where/are active. That M48 variant went out of active service in the early 80s and was mostly stored in depots after that (till the 90s). The SLT56 came into service in 1988 and was ordered to haul Leopard II that the older but still (as of today) SLT50 could not haul back then.
So I would say "not very likely" since an SLT50 would be "good enough" to carry it and far more common (300+ vs. 49)

If you are doing it as a diorama you could always say that it was moving a museum piece. After all these two vehicles weren't in service at the same time either;

Thanks, gentlemen,
Very informative.
I didn't know this m48 variant. But I hoped to have found something different on the back of my SLT!
So, let's go on to find a fitting alternative.
I have been part of a SLT50 kolonne, mixed with Dutch FTF's once to pick up US Army owned Warschau Pact AFV's for an information week in Seedorf, BRD, but I doubt if a T54 or so would be possible on the back of Franziska?!
And if so, I have no clue about the colors etc.
