Out Now, issue 5 of Initiative: £1.30

In this issue we have some excellent step-by-step articles by Andy, Marko and Sean. Normski takes a look at the world of Norsguard and our Gamezone article covers the game TRIBAL, with a look at Maori culture to boot. Here at Initiative we even give you an education alongside your gaming. We also take a look at Norsgard and Fallen Frontiers as well as Angel Giraldez's new book and another miniature fron Rage Craft Studios.
Roberts’s regular look into game design continues with a look at the physical limitations when designing a board game. Michael shares his experiences at ReaperCon, which looks a whole lotta fun! All this and a lot more besides.

Also available, FPM issue 42: £1.30

We have a cracker of an issue for you this month with a truly inspiring tutorial from Roman Lappat who tells us all about OSL. Marko Paunovic brings us the latest instalment of his post-apoc diorama and we have a HUGE step by step article from Roman Gruba…did I mention it was massive!
Also in this issue we have lots of unboxing reviews for you, so if you have yet to decide on that little something to buy yourself, then look no further: Nuts Planet, Altores Studio, FeR Miniatures, Miniature Tale, Neko Galaxy Minis, Black Sun Miniatures and Kellerkind Miniaturen are all featured, as well as Kimera Models, where we drop the mic on exclusive revelations! We also have a show report from the recent Monte San Savino competition and a close look at the new painting book by Arsies and the Iwata Neo Airbrush Kit.
Kicking it all off is a superb Insight interview with none other than the fantasy artist supremo, Gerald Brom, one of our all-time favourites!

We first advertised the upcoming Seminart with Chris Clayton before christmas to give all of you artisans a chance to jump on board early. Places are being taken up and the class is just over a month away. Chris has been at the peak of our hobby for many years both as a painter and sculptor, he has long been held in the highest regard by other top artist for his work and the calibre of the attendees already signed up is a reflection of the respect and admiration we have for contribution to our hobby. We already have award winners and competition judges signed up to attend.

Anyone serious about improving their skills should not miss this class, the knowledge and meticulous processes that Chris will share over the weekend should be considered an investment for all of us striving to improve.

This is the class we have wanted for years!

Chris has also revealed the exclusive bust attendees will be working on that he sculpted himself and I am really looking forwards to seeing what everyone can do with it.

I wish you all luck in securing a place because the number is limited and once the Seminart is full thats it.

The Bust!
