I have had this stuff for a couple of years and it is very effective.I have avoided using it for Vallejo because I wasn't sure how it would react.

You say it's fine for Vallejo though,doesn't goop up ?

I use it on everything, Vallejo, Tamiya, Ammo, AK, and no issues with any off them.

Me too! Love this stuff! I also use it for brushes, although straight up alcohol works best when they're really gummed up.

For a gummed up airbrush, I use Winsor and Newton Brush Restorer , cleans out anything, including dried on paint.

For cleaning jobs that bad I use 91% Isopropyl alcohol you can get at any pharmacy or Walmart, very cheap so you can soak the parts in it and through away whats used. works great.

I really like this product and buy the big bottles of it. The only thing I will say is wear a mask when spraying it through an airbrush as it does irritate my airways.

My mask (a respirator) goes on before I turn on the spray booth or compressor, and before spraying anything. ... Guess I'm just a safety nut! ... 📴

Always safety first. I also use just plain water with some dawn liquid dish soap.

How much better does this work than lacquer thinner(my go to)?

Medea is the only cleaner I use. Works perfectly, without a bunch of hype.

For acrylics, Medea is the best, and a little more environment friendlier then lacquer thinner.

It's best to get as much paint out of the Airbrush first with water or thinner then use the cleaner. I strip down the airbrush every time I use it, if you don't you may think your getting all the paint out your not. you can say a clean airbrush is a happy airbrush. If you take care of it, it will take care of you.

I don't like to use lacquer thinner in my airbrush to much it can attack the o rings and stuffing. besides there is no standard for what goes into lacquer thinner. you have no idea what your breathing.

That's why I wear a respirator. I can't comment on "environmentally friendly", but I can verify that my spray booth captures the excess.
