Has anyone have photographs or sources for german armored trains color scheme other than the dunkelgelb with camo?
I'm looking for a german grey paint scheme but not yet so sure as its just hard to determine if color schemes such exist?
As I'm currently planning to get a lot of Trumpeter's war trains too.

Hi Janned. I'm not that familiar with WWII train paint schemes. However, I suggest that you place this same post over on the sister site, Railroad Modeling, and ask the folks on there. There are some very knowledgeable folks over there that should be able to answer all of your questions.

"Panzerzug BP42 Kommandowagen"
I get the impression that this one is all dark grey, it's darker than the officers uniform (standing by the FLAK) and a little lighter than the uniform of the officer? railroad official? walking on the ground.
There is also this one but I don't know if this is a captured, and pressed into German service, train or a truly German one.

"Panzerzug 11 december 1942"
This one could also be grey:

Panzerzug 61 BP42, possibly grey
