Nothing there about styrene. Also, the plumbing inspector would have something to sat about PVC pipe not joined with PVC purple primer and PVC cement.

Agree with Eugene... The modelling glues are specific for styrene by melting it, but are useless for other types of plastic.

There is this glue I've heard of, I've forgotten what its called but its like this blue gel that when you shine ultraviolet light against it, it hardens. apparently, its very strong and it can glue anything.

can anyone tell me whats that glue is called?

There are a number of different brands out there that are UV activated. My understanding is they are basically Cyano Acrylate.

The problem with asking a question like "What is the best glue for plastic?" is kind of like asking what is the best tool to use for hardware? There are so many different types of plastic that have their own specific polymeric makeup, each having unique bonding characteristics. But then, I'm no chemist.

Two part epoxy.

Two-part epoxy is problematic for a couple of reasons: it's pretty wasteful, and hard to get proportions just right. And in my experience the only two-part epoxy I've used that didn't eventually get brittle and fall apart is JB Weld. That stuff is awesome, but not especially useful for small scale modeling.
