My name is Tomislav, aerospace engineer, 37 years old from Croatia. Been in these waters for over 20 years now, with small and big breaks. As time changes us, so is my modus operandi. Currently, I have a fetish for 1/35 ex-Soviet/Russian/Ukrainian trucks with all wheel drive 6x6 (ZIL,KAMAZ,KRAZ,URAL) and military airplanes in 1/72 & 1/48 scale (3rd/4th generation fighters, interceptors, close air support...) US, European or Russian. Here and there I pick a medal.
I scratchbuild a lot of my parts and often use aftermarket (resin,PE,decals) and recently finished 3D printing course. I'm an old school so I'm using old Testors/Model Master/Revell enamels. Never happy with acrylics, except Vallejo for figure painting. Recently started stocking Mr Paint "lacquer acrylics"
but still nothing actually painted with them.
Currently on my desk are APA-5D airfield starter 1:35 (will try to post it in WIP section), TAV-8B Matador II 1:72, MiG-31 1:72 and another URAL 4320 with ZU-23-2 AA gun in 1:35.
