Taking a trip to Hong Kong for Thanksgiving cause I don't feel like cooking. Does anyone have the gouge on where the shops are? My hotel, Royal Plaza is a little over an hour by train to both Hobby Easy and Lucky Model so I'll probably give them a miss this one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

2 shops on Sai Yee Street near to your hotel. (Twinners and Ying Ming)

4-5 shops on Kwong Wah Street / Waterloo. (Sunny, UML...)

Below there is another new shop that I've not visited that is also located in Mongkok.

If you have more time, Sham Sui Po has a couple of shops.
One of them is this

There is another one across the street run by 2 grumpy women.

Just realised the 2 shops should be Twinners and Wai Le. I was just there last year.

From Wai Le's website www.waile.com seems they've closed the Sai Yee shop and moved way out to Tsuen Wan. They have another shop in Wan Chai.

Btw I'm also refreshing my shopping itinary since I'll be there again at the end of November.

Hi Lauren,

Glad to help. Will be in HK 24th to 30th.
First 3 days in Lan Tau for the annual pilgrimage to Disneyland Then move to town and coincidentally check into Royal Plaza.

Here's a bonus. A kind gentleman left this map at our local hobby forum years ago.

https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?ll=22.331896000000015%2C114.16335600000002&spn=0.009805%2C0.01929&hl=en&msa=0&z=16&ie=UTF8&mid=1jzZM09e_GnaLpLMdlKOhIOYedfc

Last I checked it was maybe 60-70% accurate (some casualties and additions along the way). It also covers Gunpla and toys so you may need to filter them out if its not your thing.
