Dear all,

I building the Trumpeter WR360 (C12) with open engine bay.
Therefor I need at least one open (see trough) louvered door for the rear hinged doors.
As there are NO aftermarket parts available I thought about letting 3D printing one.
Therfore I would like to ask if someone has already designed such a louver door or if someone is willing to do so ?

How difficult is that, as I have never tried ?

Cheers,
Martin

If you are familiar with CAD Programs that would be very easy and quick to draw.
(I design my own line of kits using 3D printing, CnC Machined, Laser Cut and PE)
The one issue you may run into with 3D printing a Louvered Door will be warping. In my experiences 3D printing large flat areas usually ends up with a pretty good warp.

If I was to do it I would Consider making it in brass and make a Louver punch or just card stock.
Google Louver Punch
You can make a very simple Punch from Alum or even Acrylic.
