I'e had a sudden urge to make a bare metal finished aircraft in 1/48 (probably a f-84} and i'm wondering which type of paints to use. I've seen that there is a new range of acrylic paints been released ( I prefer acrylics to enamels, I use them all the time for AFV's ) and was wondering if any one has tried them, or is Alcad the way to go?

I just purchased the new Vallejo metal color paints but haven't given them a try. It was based on several review videos I watched on youtube which showed how they went on. I hope to give them a try in a day or two. I'll have to assemble a kit to put them on.
