I need some help here , i am new and figured this forum would be the best place to ask . My current model project
is a 1/35 object 279 . Heres the problem i ordered a rb models 1/35 metal barrel the M-65 130mm. This thing is closer to 1/56 scale . Its about 5.75" long without muzzlebrake . Using a scale converter at 1/56 scale it would be 26ft in real life . The M-65 barrel is 26ft long . Even at 1/35 scale the rb barrel would equate to 17ft.
Ive ordered a 12.8cm pak 44 barrel from them before and it was correct to scale . Im thinking about tossing it just doing a different model .

How does it scale up to the kit supplied barrel?

Does the "26ft" figure of the real thing describe only the externally-visible length that your RB barrel is meant to replace, or is it the total length of the weapon from breach to brake? Most data sheets give total lengths, while us modellers buy barrels that are only what sticks out beyond the mantlet.
