I know there are decent books on most every hobby. I have seen a couple for model building online. Any good ones recommended? I use Youtube and forums for a lot of info. Books are good for reading material while I'm at work as I'm not allowed to use any electronics devices (cell phone, tablet) on the job. Looking for military-armor specific, books on detailing, weathering, etc.

Hi,
While there are several excellent books that remain valid even after several years of publication (Shep Payne or Tony Greenland for example), for the most recent ones I would recommend you the 2 volumes from Adam Wilder.
You can see here a very informative review from Darren Baker with sample pages :

https://armorama.kitmaker.net/review/11784
Also the Encyclopaedia from Ammo looks very good, but it's still being published and will take several months more until all volumes are out:

Hope this helps,
Carlos
