Hi fellas..
I found an old figures set that i partially painted using oil paint on the flesh (faces and hand). I painted them maybe about 20 years ago which turn out to be crap. Now i need to repaint.
Anyone knows the best method to remove the paint..i used maybe rowney and winsor n newton oil tubes..
Thanks
Zaidi

One method that works well, wash paint off with a Q-tip soaked in Tamiya's Lacquer thinner. This thinner is plastic friendly.

Mineral spirits and turpentine should work as these products are used to thin the paint in the first place
but may take longer to dissolve dried paint.
Give it a try on one figure...say the hands to be safe.

I tried with turpentine..soak for 15 mins n then quick scrub with an old brush.. it disolve slowly but then i noticed at also 'melted' the plastic but not very slow. So i stop.. will pay lhs a visit for tamiya enamel
