Hey guys have you seen "The Best of Show" winner. Believe it or not, I met Douglas Lee( a year ago.) He brought this model - something like a show and tell, unpainted and wow we really expected that this guy would win.. Funny thing is I mistook him as Vincent Wai. (the owner of Alpha Image Minitures)
BTW Douglas was also the guy who built "The Road to Damascus" both dioramas are "superb". A very simple man .. di mo nga akalain na sya.

Hi Blitz,
Saw it on another site but you have better pics. Grabe, the guy has great eye for detail and composition. You can feel the tension and drama of the event. It is trully a work of art!

Wanze,
He scratcbuilt, sculpted the figures and the horses(I thought it was ZVESDA's Soviet Cavalry)pero hindi eh.. The only add-ons are the Hornet heads..It's really an investment if you are into figures.
The vehicles were just built straight out of the box, not so much PE.. pero tama ka..the detail and composition is really something else.. It's simple but it's an eyecatcher

Beautiful! Simply beautiful! The horses look like they're actually moving. Damn impressive!

MAY COPYA AKO NG MAGAZINE NA YAN. GALING NGA NYA. TAPOS ANG PINAKAGAMIT NYA NA TOOL PANG SCRATCHBUILD AY ISANG MALAKING KARAYUM. NAG PINTURA NA RN AKO NG MGA KABAYO. PROBLEMA LANG TALAGA DIYAN KUNG MARAMI SILA. DAPAT MAY IBA IBANG SPOTS O STREAKS KUNG HINDI MAGMUMUKHAN ASSEMBLY LINE HORSES. BAKIT HINDI NA DOMESTICATE ANG ZEBRA?

Uy ganda naman. Very eloquent. Very well presented. The groundworks looks almost real, and the colors are spectacular!
