I can't find any aftermarket for this, so does anyone know if it can be done? My problem is finding wire that is thin enough, and getting them together at the central spot to let the glue hold them.

Are you refering to the German star antennas? Just because I believe those were 6-pronged. In that case, I can tell you both were to find after market items as well as how to make one of your own:

1. After market: can sometimes find them on PE sets by Voyager or Aber for vehicles that also came as a command version, like the Tiger, Panther and Jagdpanther. I have several PE frets of my own with the star element to mounted on a proper rod, like here:

2. scratch-built: I once made one with stretched sprue using CA glue. Normal styrene glue will melt the thin strechted sprue and ruin it. ALternatively, you can also use 0,3 mm steel rod e.g. made by Aber:

ANd now, model away and good luck!
