I spend a lot of time thinking and reading about modelling rust. Nowhere have I seen anyone use one of the erasers or sandblasters to eat away at a model. Has anyone here tried it or have the ability to do so? I would think it would leave a great texture and eventually easy all the way through plastic or resin to create some pinholes like real would. Using a metal drill gauge or something similar could give a little more control to hit specific areas. Any takers?
