Hi guys,

I have a set of Master Box modern US infantry that I would like to paint in the new scorpion cammo, as I think it would be a bit easier than the digital one. Would anyone know if the uniform itself is the same and just the cammo has changed, or is the kit itself different?

Thanks.

Firstly, the pattern is not called Scorpion. That was one of the commercial brands before the pattern was bought/accepted by the US Army. The pattern is called OCP (Operational Camouflage Pattern). Yes, the basic uniform cut is the same Army Combat Uniform (ACU), with a few minor changes such as zippers and buttons replacing Velcro, but they are all hidden under pocket flaps on pockets and such. The biggest visible change is on the upper sleeve pockets, which no longer have a flap and are accessed from a zipper on the inside vertical edge.

Here is a graphic with the changes.
