Last week at the IPMS Nationals I sat in on a seminar on a rather new technique called "lacquer drybrushing" . I was very intrigued by this and I'm wanting to try it myself. This technique is used for allied armour of WWll. In my case I'm using Tamiya's 105 Sherman. What you do is you start with a base coat of Tamiya Olive Drab and then you spray on a top coat of Lifecolor green. Doesn't matter what green you use. Then you take a Q-Tip, dip it in lacquer thinner and dry off the excess (hence the term lacquer drybrushing) and start rubbing the top coat of paint until the base coat of Tamiya's Olive Drab starts "bleeding" through. My question is this, is this all you do or are there other steps you have to do as well? Certainly any help would be greatly appreciated.

Tony
