Hello All,
I build armor in 1/35 scale and was entertaining the thought of doing some things in 1/72.
I'd be interested in doing Tigers, Panthers and Shermans. So, are there any manufacturers or kits to avoid? Is there a best as far as a good balance between quality [fit/accuracy] and price?
Any and all input is appreciated.
Thanks & God Bless You,
Joe

I'm pretty new at 1/72 armor as well...tried a couple of Airfix kits to get my feet wet, now I'm ready for what looks to be a nice Dragon Sherman M4A3(76)W VVSS for a more advanced model. Also, Master Box has a small line of really nice WWI tanks and vehicles, easy builds but great detail! All are in the $7-$12 price range.

I haven't built a lot of 1/72, but I really liked the Italeri & Master Box kits I built. The guys in my local club who have built the Flyhawk FT17 recommend them, also.
On the other hand, stay away from Ace unless you really, really, really have to have a vehicle they make (and no one else makes it).

Hi Vicious,
Thank you. I was checking out E-bay and don't think I saw any by Flyhawk, but will check again.

Hi ULIX-VM,
Thank you. I have seen quite a few different brands. Such a large selection that it makes it difficult to decide which ones to get.
God Bless You,
Joe
