I just wanted to acknowledge the passing of 1Lt. Towers on 7/4/16 at the age of 99.
He was a member of the 30th Infantry Division and devoted much time and effort preserving the history of the division during WWII. Although I never met him I did have the privilege to communicate with him regarding unit histories and primary source documents. RIP sir.
