not strictly what we do here,but this is a dinky hurricane i've owned since 1973 ( it was a birthday pressie) it was quite battered, missing the prop, cannons,one u/c leg (which retracts) i got the parts to fix it from a specialist site but the decals were'nt much cop, either being perfect copies of 30 year old decals with almost white carrier film, or there just crap.i finished it with markings from the spares box, but the roundels and the fin flash are the paper stickers, yes thats what i said! to keep in touch with the original look of it

Very nice resto job! I too have a soft spot for older diecast, especially of military subjects. It's good to see 'old friends' get a new lease on life.

I found on of them years ago on the old bit of waste gorund near my house, it had no paint, decals, canopy ha one prop left on the spinner and the under carrage was gone might still be in the house in scotland some were, I also had the harrier and the patrol boat which "fired" tropedos
