Hi fellas! I have assembled plastic figures before but I want to perfect my art.How do you fill in the leg/butt/ torso joint gaps with plastic figures. I purchased some German panzer crewmen. I want the joint to be smooth. The gaps are small but noticible. I tried testors white putty but I never couldthe joint smooth. Any advice can help. Thanks.

You are on the right track, but the Testors white putty is pretty thick and hard to smooth
Squadron brand green is not much better.

Tamiya makes a smoother finer grained putty that is more workable.
All three can me smoothed with liquid model cement on an old brush or with a q-tip.

Folks also use milliput, Aves brand, or the kneadable 2part putty from the Games Workshop wargaming stuff. These are water soluble and can be smoothed with a damp finger or q-tip.

There are liquid putties by Mr Surfacer that also fill gaps.

I recommend using either Perfect Plastic Putty by Deluxe(which you can smooth with a damp q-tip) or for finer gaps white glue(also smoothed with a damp q-tip).
