I just picked up hobby boss's EBR-10 I looked on hobby search to look at the parts breakdown and i noticed that the middle wheels ( retractable traction wheels) in the kit are rubber will i have a problem painting them ?

I don't know of anyone who has tried to paint the center wheels yet. I suspect paint would not adhere too well to the rubber. Not sure why those wheels aren't made of styrene as they are metal on the real vehicle. You need to get a set of resin EBR wheels from Def.Model.

One last question how is the gun travel lock stowed when not in use the hobby boss instructions don't give you the option
