This is a conversion set for AFV club's 1/350 scale Gato class Submarine 1942, kit # SE73510. This conversion allows you to create the USS Tunny, a post-World War Two GUPPY conversion that was further converted into the first cruise missile submarine. Carrying two Regulus nuclear missiles, the USS Tunny's first nuclear deterrence patrols were carried out starting in the late 1950s, into the mid 60s. The Regulus missiles had a 500 mile range and could carry a 2 megaton yield warhead.

This conversion set comes with all the relevant sonar blisters and domes and periscopes, the modified deck and Regulus hanger, the GUPPY conversion sail, and two Regulus missiles.
