Hi everyone,
I am just beginning my journey into photo-etch and its rather exciting so far. The only issue I am running into is I am not sure if there is a preferred glue for attaching these parts to styrene. I am using some super glue (cyanoacrylate) and a tooth pick for application, but this seems rather lacking in precision. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Gators' Grip Glue.
A buddy let me try some I some of his and I'm hooked. No smell. Cleans up with water so you can apply it with a brush and clean the brush with water. Fingers don't get stuck together. The thin and regular have a reasonable open time so you can move the pieces around for precise locating of the pieces. Works especially well joining PE to polystyrene. I was able to assemble and mount some tiny parts from a monster Voyager kit on a model I'm building. I would not have attempted it using CA.
Inexpensive. You can get it from the the producer or from Michigan Toy Soldier. Put Google to work for the sites. IIRC cost around $15 for a bottle of each including shipping.
I solder larger pieces if I can clamp the pieces with mini alligator claps, etc. but for small PE parts The acrylic is the answer for me.
