Hi all,

I am in the process of building the diminutive Meng 1/35th scale French FT-17 light tank. Having, until now, been an observer of this site I intend to submit it as a build log, this being my first build in nearly 40 years...eeeeek! No pressure,

I have read an article that suggests FT-17s served with the British in WW1. My question is this, if they did serve with the British does anyone have information relating to colours and markings that would have been applied?

To-date i've been unable to find any useful information, so any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Regards

G

This site says that 24 were used by the British for testing.

Which I am guessing that they were just used on proving grounds for evaluation and not for actual service.

But that is my interpretation of a single sentence.

Cheers,

Nigel
