Was M4A3E8 use in the Pacific War???

Hi,
Recently I was going throught the internet and I notice a drawing of a M4A3E8 with a Japanese burn out Zero at it's background.
My question is, was the M4A3E8 use in the Pacific war with the Japanese?

No. Had the invasion of Japan occurred they would have been involved, but the only HVSS tank in the Pacific was the M4 105mm howitzer tank.

The M4A3E8 was used in Korea extensively and I believe they were stationed in Japan prior to hostilities.
