Any idea what happened to the images, hosted by armorama, in certain older threads? For example.

I imagine anything could have happened. Deleted to free up space, most likely. I don't imagine my build blog pics will still be around in 11 years.
They could have been moved into another folder, that would have broken the links. I did that once by mistake in photobucket. Created a new folder, swept all of my not-current stuff into it, and Bam!...every link broken.
just a thought...

Yup ... you move it, you lose it (the link). Editing an album/folder title will also break its link.

Gary, Mike,
Completely understand broken links due to moving data. HTML does not like that. I'm sure Armorama doesn't have a retention policy on these posts, but it would sure be nice they could at least keep the HOW-TO's intact.
Nothing Armorama can do on photos hosted offsite, but plenty they can do with their hosted stuff, barring a data loss isuue.

The images in said post were hosted here. As to where they went, I have no idea. I went looking for the originals, but they are nowhere to be found as of yet.

Well that's a shame. When I saw this I had just assumed you might have deleted them to make room for others.
Welcome back btw.
Cheers,
Jim
